Company Chordelia was formed in April 2002 by choreographer and Artistic Director, Kally Lloyd-Jones and is based in Glasgow. The company creates, produces and tours performance work, largely in Scotland. Company Chordelia aims to produce high calibre and innovative performance work which is truly accessible to a general, as well as an established dance, audience, creating theatrical dance work which is idiosyncratic, artistically challenging and appeals on a really human level, using humour, a wide range of dance and theatre styles and music. We aim to attract new people to dance by using the medium of dance alongside other art forms and resources. In our general concern about audiences we tour as widely as possible in Scotland, and also engage in as many workshops and pre/post performance activities as we can.

Dance works include Blood, Sweat & Shopping (2002), Saturday Night Divas (2003 & 2004),Play On! (2004), Cinderella Pilot Error! (2005) and Red Shoes (2006/7) (d. M. Popper). Company Chordelia has appeared at Defining Moments (2003), performed twice at the Critic Awards for Theatre in Scotland, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007 and has been regularly supported on a project basis by the Scottish Arts Council and Glasgow City Council.
